Is there a known issue with TurboTax getting stuck on new installations at the Activation Step? My internet is working as you can see by this question. I believe I have firewall and antivirus protection setup OK as turning them both completely off does not help. The dialogue says, "You're not connected to the Internet." "Check to make sure that * Your security setup, such as your firewall and antivirus programs, allow TurboTax to connect to the Internet."

I am having the same issue with TT Deluxe and Windows 11. I get "We've hit a snag activating your product..." I've tried uninstalling, downloading and installing several times.
Please follow the steps in this link to update your program. Once you have downloaded the update patch, the error should resolve and you will be able to proceed.
I have the 2004 desktop home and business. I am having the same problem. Is there a manual update available for this version, or will the individual manual update solve the problem?
You mean the 2024 desktop software, right? Yes, the manual update will work on all personal versions of TurboTax Desktop (Basic, Deluxe, Premier or Home & Business). @Late on taxes
