I bought Deluxe 2023 from Amazon. I downloaded successfully, but the installation fails with a message that another installation is still active. This is on a Windows PC that is running Windows 10, version 22H2. I have re-started the PC several times, and re-done the download, but I always get the same message.

...also check all the programs in your list of programs already installed...

1)  Is it possible you already had installed any other version of a 2023 TTX program? 

or

2) Could also be that you were accidentally provided 2022 TTX program, and already have a 2022 installed from last year?   Any indication, during the failed installation, exactly what year is being attempted?

Thank you for your response. This is the first time that I have ever purchased and tried to install TurboTax, so I'm confident there is no conflict with a previous version.

It turned out that I needed to disable Windows Installer. Once I did that the installation proceeded smoothly.
