I just got married in 2024. My husband owes back child support. Since this will be our first year filing together, how do I file the injured spouse form when they ask "what year/s do you want to claim as injured spouse?"

The request (Form 8379) is filed each year you request Injured Spouse relief.

If you are filing Married Filing Jointly, for tax year 2024, (or live in a community property state and filing any filing status) request that for tax year 2024.
