It asks for your resident state. That is same as HOR.
My info already says Resident state is UT yet the program keeps telling me to confirm my resident state on this worksheet in which UT doesn’t show up as an option in the dropbox. I dunno what to do. If this technical issue keeps up, I am not getting my state return this year.
Which worksheet is the error referring to? If it is in the state interview, after confirming your resident state in the federal interview, then "Edit/Continue" your state return and check the residency questions there. This usually one of the first few questions or "Edit" the "General information" section from the state's summary page.
I actually started it over and found out my issue was that I checked Non-Residency box for state return. I assumed it applied to me being a home owner. It was my mistake. I apologize for any inconvenience.
