Paid Parental Leave

The company I work for offers 3 weeks paid parental leave for fathers.  The leave is identified in my pay stub as "Parental Leave" but they do not provide a separate 1099.  Is my pay stub sufficient evidence for the state of CA?

Paid Parental Leave

In your case, the parental leave was paid within your paychecks and reported on your W-2. There will be no separate 1099. Evidence that you received parental leave pay is on your pay stubs.

Paid Parental Leave

are the parental leave payments from the employer considered non-taxable income in California (similar to PFL payments received from the EDD)?
