I believe that the cost of finding a job -- from resume writing, to job board fees, to miles for in person interviewing -- are deductible, but I am not seeing where to enter those.

The cost of job search/finding employment is no longer deductible. The miscellaneous deduction on a federal return for job search expenses has been eliminated since the tax laws changed due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for 2018 and beyond.
