There are a few retailers who are not selling the TT desktop software in the store but they still have it available on their websites to buy the download.

You can also purchase the desktop download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

Yes at some stores.  I think they all don't have it like last year.   And it is just a download this year, no CD.  You can get it at Costco, etc.  or online.

You can buy the Desktop Download program here,

What I’m running into is not finding anything physical in stores. Even if it’s a box for digital download.  I’ve checked Meijer, Target, Best Buy, and Walmart, so far

Since there is no physical CD, it is simple to just buy the download online from a retailer that sells the downloads.  Why make a trip to the store to buy a download?
