In progress 2023 Tax Return Disappeared

I had been working on my 2023 tax return for a 5 or 6 hours over a period of a few days. I have always saved them when I log out. Today I received a few new forms in the mail, but when I logged in, to enter them, I found  my entire 2023 progress was gone and now I need to start from scratch, Why did this happen and how can I retrieve it?

Maybe you are in the wrong account.   Online saves your work.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

It. just happened to me too. Almost done with both returns -and alll disappeared . The UI for this online tool is NOT intuitive. Very frustrated.

My progress just disappeared as well. I've read posts, and nothing is working to find it.

@ksaubut You added to someone else's thread that began last year with a person looking for a 2023 return.  What are you trying to find-----an unfinished 2023 return?   Or a 2024 return you started working on this year?
