Importing financial data but not populating forms

I'm using Deluxe version. Import financial data says successful, but data not populated in forms. I entered data by hand, but stock transactions would be too complicated by hand. What did I do wrong?

since you already did some manually note for most 1099Bs you don't need to enter all the detail you can input 1099B at summary level which will go onto Schedule D. With the caveat that, if you have any entries with cost basis adjustments for wash sales, AMD, noncovered securities missing cost basis, it's best to enter those at the detailed "one by one" level which will generate Form 8949 for those, and the remaining balance of your 1099B can then be entered at summary level, and check the totals on Schedule D. If you input items with adjustments as summary entries it will trigger the need to mail the details to the IRS (I think with online you can also do this step electronically by uploading a PDF attachment but I have not tried this).

I've only gotten through the import of 1099 data. It did not import 1099-DIV data for some reason and I haven't gotten beyond that yet. Appreciate the quick response. Thanks to all.

if you're still getting stuck on importing 1099s you're probably just better off entering manually and move on, especially INT/DIV don't take long to do and you likely have to review the interview questions after the 1099 input anyway.

Most 1099Bs can also be simply input at the summary level, none of the transaction detail is needed to file on Schedule D, unless there are adjustments to the cost basis for wash sales, AMD, non-covered lots etc.

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.

To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:

Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.

If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:

Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.
