Importing 2023 tax data to complete 2024 returns

 I'm almost done with my 2024 returns and I don't think it imported all of the data from my 2023 returns. Is there a way to import the 2023 data at this point, or would I need to start a new return? If I need to start a new return, how do I import all the data from the 2024 return I'm currently working on into the new 2024 return?

Tutbotax does not use"imported" but rather "transfer" when you start next year's return. Transferring data from the earlier year to the current year is the first step and can not be done later.

Semantic aside, can you answer the second half of my question?

If I start a new 2024 return, transfer 2023 data, how do I get all of the data from the almost finished 2024 return I'm working on transferred into the new 2024 return?

@smzpdx Sorry---you want something you cannot have.   The transfer of 2023 has to be done at the very beginning---before you enter any 2024 information.   If you did not transfer the .tax2023 file at the very beginning, the only way to do do is to start over---all the way over----and you will lose the 2024 data you have entered when you do that.
