Are you unable to import directly from the brokerage using TurboTax? That would be easiest.
TurboTax can only import a pdf of last year's tax return. Even then the details aren't all there.
If you have a big 1099-B statement from your brokerage it has to be in a csv format to import into TurboTax and all of the columns have to match TurboTax's format.
