Imported 1099-b document is missing CUSIP in the description field

I imported 1099-B from Merrill Lynch and OptionHouse. The stock description field (1a) does not include the #CUSIP, just the first few words such as "PROSHARES TR ULTRAPRO". Do I have to provide CUSIP on the description for all trades by a manual edit?

You do not need to provide the CUSIP #.  The imported description is all that is needed.
