import of tax forms from brokerage seems to go through, but no data is there

I'm trying to import 1099-B/INT/DIV from a major brokerage.  The import seems to go through, with the browser tab that was opened reporting something like "success, your data has been imported, you can return to Turbotax".   But there is no new data there (in Turbotax).
