IL e-file rejects due to form 1040 step 3 line 5

IL needs the supported by transmitting a US 10 with the electronic return

IL 1040 -1100-1 - Form IL1040 Step 3 Line 5 federally portion of Social Security and certain retirement income must be supported by transmitting a US 1040 with the electronic return.

how do I do that? please help!

Some TurboTax Online/Desktop customers may be experiencing a rejection error when trying to e-file their state return when their federal return has already been accepted.  Click the link and you can sign up for an email update when the issue is resolved.  State rejection. Federal return must be submitted

I too am having this issue.

Please sign up for notifications here if your state return is rejected with a message saying Federal Form 1040 or 1040NR must be present.
