how do i sign an electronically submitted return

i submitted my return on my computer. i finished. how do they verify that its me. i did not sign.

Was it Accepted? Then they verified you. You had to enter last years AGI for verification.

how can I make sure that I did? They have accepted the return, but Im a little worried. I've never filed like this before.

If this is your first time e-filing, it will feel strange to not have to sign the return. With e-file, it is an electronic signature that is backed with knowledge of your last years return. If your return was accepted, you are considered to have signed and filed.
