If your file was rejected with error code IND-181-01 and selecting "fix" does not take you to the screen to re-enter your IP PIN, try this:
- Open your tax file, and go to Other Tax Situations.
- Scroll down to Other Return Info and click on Show More.
- Look for Identity Protection PIN and click on Revisit.
- Follow on-screen prompts to enter your PIN.
Review your return for errors and re-submit for electronic filing.
