I am divorced as of last year. Filing single. My ex is assuming all debt including its payment plan. How do I make sure my tax refund goes to me and not this debt?

As per my divorce decree, ex husband assumes all debt including IRS debt. I lost all my tax return last year from it being applied to this debt. How do I make sure I am getting my tax return and it isn't applied to this debt?

If you are filing Single, the IRS cannot intercept your refund to repay your ex-spouse's debt.
