If we are allowed to file our taxes without paying the tax we owe, how do we do that?

With the loss of my employment and the inflated economy we are finding it necessary to use our credit cards to cover some of our monthly obligations. I'm 75 and wife is79 and haven't been able to find employment. any help will be much appreciated.

If you are unable to pay your taxes in full, you should still file by April 15th, but you can apply for a payment plan from the IRS through their site directly. When you get to the end of TurboTax, prior to hitting file, it will also give you the option to apply.
