Are you filing your tax return by mail? If you are and you keep getting "returned to sender" you are using an incorrect mailing address. Similar problem: I e-filed, but had to mail a form 8453 to
IRS
Attn: Shipping and Receiving, 0254
Receipt and Control Branch
Auxtin, TX 73344
as specified by both TurboTax and by the IRS documentation.
It came back marked "return to sender."
Did this happen to anybody else? Anyone know why this happened?

The address you have listed above is correct.
I would recommend trying to send it again by certified mail to ensure that you receive a receipt of proof of delivery or at least have proof that you tried to deliver the form.
