If it says "delete a copy of Form 1095-A, and have the 1095-A reported on that person's tax return," but let me file even if I delete it, what should I do?

I tried filing but it says this: "Form 1095-A - Insurance Exchange (Untitled): Recipient's SSN You have indicated you can be claimed as a dependent. This 1095-A must be reported on the tax return of the person who can claim the dependent exemption. Please delete this copy of Form 1095-A, and have the 1095-A reported on that person's tax return." I tried deleting it but the same error keeps showing up and won't let me file.

Since you've already deleted the 1095-A form from the Deductions and Credits section of TurboTax, check to see if it's still attached to your return by following the steps below.

1. Launch  TurboTax
2. Select TaxTools from the menu on the left
3. Select Tools
4. Select Delete a Form in the pop-up window
5. Scroll down until you see Form 1095-A and delete
6. If you see Form 8962, delete that form also
7. Return to your tax return and review.
8. Select File from the left menu and continue through the process to resubmit your return.

This should eliminate the error, but if it doesn't ‌ contact us again.
