If I got to the end of my tax, right before submitting to IRS and I decide I want to go out and have someone help me file tax this year, is that ok?

I'm asking because I was trying to clear and start over but it won't allow it. I just wanted to upgrade to deluxe so I can download my previous year's tax return. I got to the end and paid for deluxe version and was able to download what I needed. Can I choose to leave it and not file it?

Yes, until you submit to the IRS, you can stop at any point.

Yes. Taxes will not be filed until you complete every step. If you leave the site and do not come back to it, taxes will never file on the site.
