Once it’s received your refund, the next step is approving the refund; the last step is;Refund Sent; IRS will send give you a date when to expect your refund in your bank if your bank is green dot/walmart money card; chime/stride bank or Sutton bank;or Netspend)(once you see that your refund has been sent; the money will be in your account before 9 or 10 PM that same day
I received the same message and yes that to long.
Exactly same as mines. I paid for the 5 days early as well. Then they sent me an email today saying they apologize for the misunderstanding irs can't send out refunds earlier then 21 days if we claimed the ctc an/or etc so they gave me an estimate date Feb 14th but can't ganrentee that. If they not going to grant that then they need to send my money back I paid for it to come early!
No you need to check the irs website don’t mater if your accepted you’ve got to be approved
So, I received ,my email on 2/4. Just had my transcript populate about 50 minutes ago (it wasn't even on my account before this), refund is dated for 2/12, so I should be getting it today sometime.
@KimSmith294 If I'm remembering correctly I read an article somewhere from TT that said if the 5 day early direct deposit couldn't be honored then you would not have to pay the $25. I'll see if I can't find what I'm talking about and try to post it on this thread
@KimSmith294 I just copied and pasted the following from TT website about the 5 days early depositing of federal refunds and what they say about if it doesn't happen within the 5 days early...
Arrives early
Early tax refunds are delivered 5 days before IRS delivery (IRS delivery is usually within 21 days).
Easy direct deposit
We'll send your refund to an eligible bank account that you choose.
On time delivery
If your federal refund isn't 5 days early, you won't be charged any early delivery fee.
1 Personal taxes only. Your federal tax refund will be deposited to your selected bank account 5 days before the refund settlement date provided by the IRS (the date your refund would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly). The receipt of your refund 5 Days Early is subject to IRS submitting refund information to us at least 5 days before the refund settlement date. IRS does not always provide refund settlement information 5 days early. You will not be eligible to receive your refund 5 Days Early if (1) you take a Refund Advance loan, (2) IRS delays payment of your refund, or (3) your bank’s policies do not allow for same-day payment processing. 5 Days Early fee will be deducted directly from your refund prior to being deposited to your bank account. If your refund cannot be delivered 5 Days Early, you will not be charged the 5 Days Early fee. 5 Days Early program may change or be discontinued at any time.
2 If your federal refund is deposited into your selected bank account less than 5 days before the IRS refund settlement date (the date it would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly), then you will not pay the 5 Days Early fee. See Terms of Service for more details.
I did the 5 days early filed and the it's accepted it the 21st and got it the 31st but my state is still processing so it works
Hi , did you have a child tax credit or earned income credit , if you don't mind me asking
I did not. I received the email on the 4th. Keeping fingers crossed I receive mine soon.
Did you claim ctc or eitc? If you don’t know what it means , did you claim any dependents or children?? I’ve been trying to see that but nobody says that when they post the received their taxes already
I didn’t.
Yours is coming too. All of yall be on the look out them deposits are coming. My transcripts updates too. So everyone check their transcripts
Yes! I filed both credits/dependents and just got my state yesterday and my transcript updates. I got accepted Jan 21st,transcripts just updated today. Still no 846 code. But I'm sure it will update to that next Friday.
I was sent an email yesterday saying they got the time table mixed up and the irs website isn’t showing accurate information. That I will get my return by sometime before march 3rd when I was told I’d get it on the 14th. Does TurboTax have any open lines of communication with the IRS that allows you to have information for your patrons? Or do you guys just let us spend money filing, and then when our money gets jammed up you all just point your finger at the IRS? How is it that TurboTax doesn’t ever know anything about anything whenever someone asks?
