If I filed with Turbotax and is expecting a check by mail. How do I find out when it arrives in the mail and does the refund come by State, Federal or by Turbotax?

Your federal refund will be issued and sent by the IRS and your state refund will be issued and sent by your state as your state operates independently of the IRS. 

Per the IRS, most refunds are processed within 21 days from the time a return has been accepted and a refund option is selected. Once your refund check has been mailed, you should receive it within 3-5 business days.

You are able to track the progress of your return via the IRS Where's My Refund? site after your Federal return has been accepted by the IRS.
