If I don't have funds to pay for the filing of my taxes now, what happens

It's far too early to file for 2018, both from an IRS standpoint, and a TurboTax standpoint.  The IRS won't begin accepting 2018 returns until sometime in January.

At any rate, you won't be allowed to e-file or print your tax return using TurboTax until payment of TurboTax fees has been made.

If you qualify, you may be able to use TurboTax Free File program.  More information will be offered in mid-January by clicking on the link in this TurboTax FAQ:

It appears that you're using TurboTax Deluxe online program.  If that is the program that you will need to file for 2018, you will either need to make payment at the time of filing, OR you can have the TurboTax fees deducted from a federal refund, if that applies.  That option is called the Refund Processing Service.  Please note that using this option, there is an ADDITIONAL fee to use that option.  See the FAQ below for more information.
