If box 20 is blank on my w-2 and i'm supposed to leave it blank in turbo tax why am I not able to continue without filling something in?

When I hit continue it just brings me back to the top of the page where it has a red exclamation point and says  "we found something wrong with your info"

Sometimes a "zero" is better than a blank space.  Try it.

TurboTax will want a locality name or code in W-2 Box 20 if you have an amount in Box 18 (local wages, tips, etc.) and/or Box 19 (local income tax) so TurboTax knows where to move your local info.
