If you have not yet filed your tax return you can go back into your online account, go to the Personal Tab and make the correction.
If you have already filed your return you would have to wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If your return accepted you would not need to do anything further. If the IRS rejects the return you can go back and make the correction and then resubmit it.
