I would like to file an extension for my 2019 tax return, but it says "Unfortunately, the deadline for filing an extension has passed". What do I do?

Easy Extension for TY 2019 has not been activated yet -- it usually becomes available in late March.  If you wish to file your extension before then, you can download the form from the IRS website, complete it, and mail it in.  Click on this link:  Form 4868

Go to www.irs.gov/payments and select 
"Extension". Pay any amount ($5.00 will do), or your estimated tax due.

Your extension is automatic.
