According to the IRS, "Compensation paid to election workers is includible as wage income for income tax purposes and may be treated as wages for Social Security and Medicare (FICA) tax purposes."
Wage income would be reported on the tax income under W-2 income. If you have not received your W-2, you may need to reach out to the hiring government entity to request a copy of your W-2.

The income is taxable so you have to include it on your return. If you earn under $600 the employer is not required to issue a 1099 which is probably why you did not get one. You can enter the income under w2 or misc.
