TT does not produce such a report. the only purpose for entering quarterly income, expenses and taxes paid is to reduce the underpayment penalty for estimated taxes. look at the annualized information for the 2210. annualizing doesn't always reduce the penalty.
Thanks! But TT did have some pages with questions about quarterly income for each of our sources of income and also the quarterly withheld for each of those in order to adjust the underpayment penalty. I did fill out all those. I made a mistake that realized afterwards but cannot find it anywhere and the search only takes me to the official form 2210. I want to adjust my numbers but they do not appear anymore. I appreciate any help with this.
I'm using TT Premier on Windows. If I select Other Tax Situations under Federal Taxes, and then select Underpayment penalties, it will take me through several questions and will then ask if I want to annualize my income. Is that what you're looking for?
Try using the search term below to get back to that section. To reduce or possibly even eliminate your underpayment penalty, search for annualizing your tax (use this exact phrase) inside TurboTax. This will take you to the underpayment penalty section and we'll take you through the steps to possibly reduce your underpayment penalty. (If you don’t see Jump to annualizing your tax in the search results, make sure you’re in your return and not on the Tax Home page.)
