I started my 2016 taxes on my old computer with a cd installed turbotax. I needed to buy a new computer. Can I use Turbotax and access my partial return on new computer?

The Turbotax folders are on the new computer.

Copy the tax data file from the old computer to the new computer.  Copy to Documents and the TurboTax folder.  After copying the tax data file to the new computer, start the 2016 program.  The program should see the 2016 tax data file and show you the return to be continued.

The 2016 tax data file will have a file extension of .tax2016.
