I signed up for the $59.99 and another $44.99 plus another $44.99 is added. Is this a scam?

It is possible that you may have added an add-on that required an extra charge.

As long as you haven't paid, registered, or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, follow the directions in this FAQ to remove all unwanted add-ons.

Also, if you elect to pay your TurboTax fees with your refund, there is a fee for that as well.
