I just finished filing my tax and was charged for E-file but I didn't want that I wanted to file via paper. Why was I charged if I didn't want that?

The fees are to prepare the return whether you efile OR print and mail.  Efiling is free and included.

I see you are using the Premier product.  There is a fee for the Premier product you selected to prepare your return.  It is currently $47.99.

You can see what you are being charged for. Click on Tax Tools from the Menu on the left side in your return. Click Tools then My Fees. This will show you what you are being charged for.
