The IRS is substantially behind in issuing refunds in cases like yours.  millions of returns that have not been fully processed so refunds can be issued. some taxpayers have waited 6 months or more. there is no way to check up on the status of this refund. be patient.

The IRS is calculating the tax refunds for the unemployment compensation exclusion for those that are eligible.  The IRS started sending refunds in May and will continue the refunds in batches throughout the next several months.
