I received a letter 5071c from the irs to verify my id. I've attempted to do so but I've never had any credit. I've attempted to call number but no live help?

about the only option is to call your local IRS office to see if they have in person interviews.  make sure to find out what documents they'll want to see.    can't or don't want to do it.   then you'll have to wait til the iRS reopens its phone lines.
