I paid my taxes with credit card via Turbo Tax but the IRS says they never received it

I filed my taxes on 15 April 2025. I paid my tax bill in full that day. y credit card was charged the amount of my tax bill but the IRS says they never received payment. How is this possible? I pad hundreds in fees to file via Turbo Tax.

If your credit card was charged, but the IRS did not receive the payment, then your best course of action is to call the IRS immediately at 888-353-4537.
