I paid 2018 estimated taxes, no schedule 5 is generated by TurboTax. I have Premier. Amount incorrectly appear in 1040 Line 16. (appeared in line 65 in 2017 1040)

I paid estimated taxes in 2018.  I filled out that info in TurboTax but my final taxes do not have a Schedule 5.  I believe they should appear in Schedule 5 b/c in 2017 they appeared as line 65 in my 1040.  It looks like TurboTax is lumping this amount into line 16 of the 2018 1040, which is incorrect b/c these amounts were not reported in a form W2 or 1099.

Your estimated taxes for 2018 get reported on line 17, Form 1040.

This is where to put estimates paid:

1.  Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2.  Click Deductions & Credits across the top.

3.  Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid and click Show more.

4.  Click Start or Revisit by Estimated Tax Payments.
