I opted for Turbo tax to pay my state taxes from my checking account . How can I verify this is all okay?

Does Turbo tax authorize payment for state taxes if I chose the date ?

Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbo Tax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.

Turbo Tax verifies it for you by forcing you to enter your routing and checking account number 2x for both Federal & State, and will alert you if you make any mistakes. This all happens before you hit the Submit button to transmit your tax return, so you're good to go!
