No one in the user forum has access to your account so we do not know what $42 you are asking about. Did this have something to do with a billing issue?
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
Did you choose to pay your fees out of your Federal refund, and were you one of the people who had the service fee deducted twice? I know that early in filing season several people who chose to pay fees out of the Federal refund were getting double service charges and TurboTax planned to refund one. As @ xmasbaby0 said, nothing account-specific is handled in this user community forum. You'd need to contact TurboTax Support as she suggested in order to inquire about it.
