I bought 2023 turbotax in 2024 from Costco. Life was difficult, so just now filing 2023 taxes (March 2025). I have spent over 3 hours trying to figure out how to download 2023 turbotax with the key. a few days ago I spoke with 2 live people, spending over 2 hours. The second person, a supervisor, was supposed to call me back the next day. Either she didn't, or perhaps I missed the call. Now, I'm trying again, and cannot even reach a live person. The automatic person is highly dysfunctional, and does not process apparently what is being said, even when I respond to her questioning with her words. Although I state when asked that I'm calling about downloading a prior years software, she. only responds with information about amending a return. nothing else. I called 3 times and get caught in the horrible loop. I go online,, and can only access the community help, no access to a live person. Last year, when I did 2022 taxes, I did not encounter this problem, I was allowed to download the software. This is flipping crazy!! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET TO A LIVE PERSON SO I CAN DOWNLOAD AND USE 2023 SOFTWARE, FOR WHICH I HAVE A KEY AND HAVE NEVER USED? THANK YOU.
