i have waited way over my time which the IRS said i had to wait 8 weeks and its been over that and i haven't received my refund
There have been delays in processing tax returns due to IRS staff reductions and local office closures so things are way behind promised dates. If no one is available at the Taxpayer Advocate service, there is really nothing that can be done since the IRS is currently not taking phone calls.
