Please be specific.  A number for what?  There are a lot of numbers to enter on a tax return.

Or are you asking for a phone number to call TurboTax?

I accidentally put a 6 digit number for the pin number for the IRS...I was never given a PIN number from the IRS.  I filed electronically last year through turbo tax without a 6 digit pin number.  This year I accidentally put in a 6 digit number and it keeps rejecting.  I removed the 6 digit pin number and it still rejects for the pin number.

The 6 digit PIN must come from the IRS.  You cannot create it for yourself.   If you did not request an IP PIN from the IRS, you do not have one.   

Did you enter your 2022 AGI?  It is found on line 11 of your 2022 Form 1040.

It's important to make sure you have a clear/deleted space where the IP PIN was entered.  Use the link below to remove the IP PIN, but before you do that it may be a good idea to clear your cache and cookies.   It handles many issues that seem nonsensical on a regular basis. 

• Add or Remove your IP PIN
• Close your TurboTax return first.

Watch to be sure you are selecting 'all time' as example.  Do not use selections like 'last hour' for those browsers that give  you options.

Once this is complete open your return, then begin your entry.
