i filled 2 tax returns last year ( i forgot about one of my w2s so i had to do another one) but when i use AGI from the first one they tell me its not working. any help please

tomorrow will be 1 month from the day my taxes were accepted. irs.gov has finally updated and says  refund will be deposited BY the 27th of FEB. so fingers crossed it will be in there tomorrow.

@kathrynhargis yes hopefully !  I know some banks can tell you if they see a deposit pending in the account

it works but the line is too busy and it won't let you hold, just tells you to try again and hangs up on you. i'm on day 28 since it was accepted and the dang thing still says processing. i need my refund to pay my bills!!!!

I just called,  followed the steps exactly how they are written out, and was told "due to high call volumes to try again later"  I filed my taxes on the 9th of February,  and they were accepted,  but right after they were accepted the bar thing disappeared and it only says "we've received your tax return and it is being processed"   today is day 23.   My husband and I filed jointly,  this is our 1st year married,  and I am wondering if that might be part of the problem,  but cant speak to anyone to find out.  We really need our return,  this is very frustrating.

yea i'm about to lose my mind here. filed and accepted on 2/1 - still "processing". our only change this year is that i didn't have a job last year, so we're especially broke and need our money. still can't get thru to speak to anyone tho.

Yup,  I quit my job in May 2018,  because I was pregnant with our 3rd child, and because of all the issues I was having we thought it best I stay home.   I have called 5 times today,  it keeps saying to call back on their non busy days,  Wednesday or Thursday.  Smh.

Finally got through to someone,  turns out the only reason there is a hold up is because my husband filed for the 1st time home buyers tax credit 5 years ago,  and because we filed married jointly,  they are reviewing it to see if he still owes on that credit or if he has paid it all back.  She said it was more of a loan then a tax credit.  So hopefully o ly 1 to 2 more weeks of waiting.

I tried this today 3/5/2019 and I was waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes; then it suddenly said “due to technical difficulties we can not answer your call at this time, please to try again later”. Then hung up on me..... I just want to talk to someone about the status of my refund OmG??

I called at like 120pm and got ahold of someone... so I thi I it really depends on the time you call.

Can anyone help me to find out how to get a representative for the IRS? I filed on the 5th of February, Accepted on the 7th, and I have yet to receive a response. I've called the hotline number and other numbers and gotten nothing. Someone please help me. It's past 21 days already. Thank you.
