I'm married, always filed jointly with similar income levels. Now I make 74k and husband 27K. Should I file separately to get a better tax rate?

It seems since we are in different income tax brackets it would be beneficial to file married(separately). we have no children and no big deductions

It's usually more beneficial for tax purposes to file jointly. You can compare your tax liability when filing jointly with your overall tax liability when filing separately to determine which option is best. In TurboTax Online, you'll need to create three different accounts - one with you both as married filing jointly, one with just you filing separately, and one with just your spouse filing separately.
