I’m in the process of moving & I can’t remember where I placed my W-2s. I need to file for an extension until I can find them. How do I do that?

Do understand clearly that an extension does not give you extra time to pay your tax due. An extension gives you extra time to prepare your tax forms and file them. The extension give you until October 15, 2024. Estimated tax you owe for 2023 is supposed to be paid by April 15 2024.
