I'm going to be doing my father's and my own taxes in 2023. How do I install 2 copies of TurboTax Premier on the same computer?

If you are going to use the TurboTax desktop CD/Download software and install it on a personal computer you only need one copy of the program for tax year 2022.

Using the desktop editions you can create, complete and file as many tax returns as needed.  The desktop program comes with 5 free federal e-files.  So you can complete and e-file both tax returns using the single installation file.

NOTE - Only one 2022 program can be installed on one computer.  A second 2022 program cannot be installed on the same computer.

@chiu-francis - that is one of the big benefits of the desktop version over the online version.  Desktop provides umlimited tax returns (only 5 can be efiled) while the online version is just one return.
