I'm amending my return but it won'yt let me file electronically once my status changes from single to head of household, but I can't switch to mailing. How do I proceed?

Adding my child as a dependent, get through the whole process but It asks that I fix my federal return and after that it won't let me file electronically or switch to mailing it in.
