I'm a yeoman in the navy. what do i put for occupation?

It depends.  "Description" doesn't really affect your tax return, so you can type in Yeoman, Military, Navy, or something similar if you'd like.  What is important is that you select your state of record correctly and that you make sure your W-2 is marked as Active Duty Military.  Here is an FAQ on State of Residence:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302301

To make sure your W-2 is correctly marked, please make sure of the following:  

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online, click take me to my return, then pick up where I left off.
2. Click on Wages and Income, then Edit on your W-2
3. Scroll through the screens until Do any of these uncommon situations apply?  Make sure the Active Military Box is checked.
