I'm a US resident and I worked on a movie location this year in Peru. The production company is from the US so how do I include the income/taxes I paid in Peru?

• Open your tax return
• Search for Foreign tax credit
• Click on the jump to the link  Foreign Tax  Credit
• Select Continue on the next screen,
• Answer the questions on the following screens until you reach your Foreign Tax Credit Summary. If you’re finished with this section, select Done

In most cases, taking the credit works out better than the deduction. We'll help you decide which one's best for you when you go through this section.

If you choose to take the credit,  TurboTax will attach Form 1116, Foreign Tax Credit if your situation requires it.

Make sure you have already entered all your foreign income.
