I have used Turbo Tax for several years but had not set up an online account until recently. Is it possible to retrieve previous year filings?

I was required to reinstall windows and lost some previous files. Turbo Tax 2016 being one of them.

If you have been using desktop software for past years, then the tax files for those years were only stored on your own hard drive or any back up device used like a flash drive. Your returns are not stored online with Turbotax. You can get free transcripts from the IRS or for a fee of $50 actual copies from the IRS.
