For federal, they don't need to mail your state returns. Only send the IRS a copy of the Form 1040 plus attached any schedules tied to the tax breaks you are claiming on the form. For example, Schedule A, Form 2441 Child care credit, Form 8863 Education Tax Credits, etc
For the State, mail them a copy of the Form 1040 (without the schedules) and a copy of the state return with the related attached forms/schedules.
